NBS Honor Band Fundraiser

In January, NBS band students have a great opportunity to attend the MAIS honor band workshops. This is a splendid time where these students get to learn from multiple instructors in their specific instruments and get a taste of the professional options that they might pursue after high school. It is an expensive trip though, and the students are raising funds to help defer the costs. For their fundraiser, the honor band students (and any others who choose to help) are filling a music note. Each honor band student who raises $65 or more will have their entry fee paid through this fundraiser. Additional funds above the entry fee will help cover traveling and room expenses for the students. All other expenses (meals and snacks) will still be the student’s responsibility.

All honor band students received a music note to fill, and you can hand them your donation. The music note is divided into varying amounts to help encourage everyone to donate what they can, without placing a limit. If you want to donate but don’t know one of the band members, you can send your payment to the office with a note that it’s for the honor band fundraiser. Thank you for supporting our Honor Band musicians.

All funds are due on December 18. Honor band students are encouraged to fill a music note, but anyone can support this event by filling one or sending individual donations. Turn in music notes and donations to the NBS office.
