About us
Overview
Northeast Baptist School (also referred to as NBS) was founded in 1994 as a ministry of participating Southern Baptist Churches in the Northeast Louisiana Baptist Association. Since the school’s first 30 students, NBS has grown to around 200 students, with 30 full and part-time faculty and staff.
NBS purchased our own campus in December of 2006 located on I-20.
Classes are offered for pre-school through twelfth grade in a traditional classroom setting. Our achievement test scores rank our students at an average of two grade levels above their current grade.
Accreditation
Northeast Baptist School is a Louisiana approved school. Our graduates are TOPS qualified in accordance with the guidelines set by the Louisiana Department of Education. Northeast Baptist School has applied for accreditation through MAIS and NACS.

Dear Parents,
Each staff member at Northeast Baptist School has experienced the abundant life that comes through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We want our students to experience this abundant life. Life becomes a great adventure for each student that develops a more personal relationship with Jesus Christ and strives to complete God’s mission for his or her life.
We strive to keep God first in every program of Northeast Baptist School. A Christ-centered education will help students walk in the truth. Students walking in the truth will develop the spiritual, emotional, educational and physical strength needed to successfully complete God’s mission for their lives. This is the reason Northeast Baptist School is committed to providing a Christ-centered education.
III John 4 states, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” I hope this joy will enrich the lives of parents that are prayerfully considering Northeast Baptist School for their children. It would be our pleasure to work with you to accomplish this goal.
Thank you for your interest in Northeast Baptist School. If you have any questions, please call 318-325-2077. We will be happy to provide you with additional information about our school.
Making disciples for Jesus Christ,
