New Carpet Coming in November

Improvements bring a new feeling to established buildings, and NBS is excited about the new carpet being installed in the downstairs hallway. The PTO worked overtime raising funds for this improvement and future campus renovations, and they’ve currently raised 74% of the total funds needed. Trusting God to bring the remaining funds needed, they’ve ordered the new carpet and begun ripping up the old. Plans are in place to replace the old carpet during the Thanksgiving holiday. NBS is extremely thankful for Monna Lee’s efforts in overseeing this project.

NBS Campus Renovations

Pulling up old carpet to prepare for new

Efforts are underway to remove the old green carpet and the cove base along the walls. The different pieces of carpet will be pulled in stages. If you would like to help, contact Monna Lee (mlee@nbs.school).

Donations Still Needed

The carpet will cost $10,000 for the downstairs hallway, and the PTO is still raising funds to cover the remaining balance needed. If you would like to help with these expenses, use the button below to make online donations. (Put carpet in the student line.) Donations can also be brought to the office.

Any extra funds received will go toward future campus renovations, including new carpet in other parts of the buildings. Thank you for supporting NBS and the PTO.

Hallway Makeover

The old carpet held up admirably since NBS purchased this campus in 2006, but 17 years of daily traffic left its mark. This faded green carpet will be replaced by a neutral-tone speckled carpet designed to match the wall coloring and add a new flare to the hallway. As funds continue to be raised for the other hallways and the auditorium, more areas will receive the same makeover.

Carpet Update

We’ve been busy ripping out the old carpet, and we’re almost ready for the new carpet to be installed. The last pieces of this green carpet will be pulled before Thanksgiving break. When you return from the break, be ready for a new view down the main hallway.

Thank you, Monna Lee, for working so hard to get ready for this.
