Sports Preparation for Next Year
Coach McBroom is running summer workouts for our athletes to help improve their physical fitness before the seasons start. All students playing on varsity and JV teams are encouraged to participate in at least 15 of the scheduled workouts. This includes basketball, baseball, football, cheerleading, softball, and volleyball teams.
Workouts started the last week of May and have already had a great turnout. If your student is considering participating on an NBS sports team, join the workouts. In addition to the physical strength, these days build comraderie between the students and help new students establish friendships before the school year starts.

Boys Workouts
The boys’ workouts run from 7-8:30 AM on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Here are the exact dates.

- No workout the week of June 19
- June 26, 27, 29
- July 3, 6 (no workout on July 4)
- July 10, 11, 13
- July 17, 18, 20

Girls Workouts
The girls’ workouts run from 9-10:30 AM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Here are the exact dates.
