Reading Fair

Reading Fair on February 12

Elementary and Upper School students (1st-11th) will show off their favorite books through decorating boards, dressing up, and delivering a short speech about their books. These presentations are very important for each student’s grade for next semester, and there is a great deal of work the students pour into each part of the presentation. Those who place highly will have the opportunity to progress to the District Reading Fair that will be held at NBS.

Students will be able to set up their projects when the office opens on February 12. They will make their presentations throughout the morning, and awards will be given out in the afternoon.

Rules for the Reading Fair

The rules for the reading fair include details about what the students need to put on their boards, how they should prepare their speeches, and what to expect in the judging. This also includes the information needed for the district and MAIS fairs that winners progress to. If you have more questions, you can contact Mrs. Castaldi.
