What is the PTO?

The Parent/Teacher Organization (PTO) plays a vital role in supporting NBS operations. It has made significant donations over the years, including the walkway between our three buildings, parking lot repairs, desks, lockers, playground repairs, and the kitchen’s food warmer. It hosts a yearly alumni reception at the Knights of Royalty football game and encourages the staff with appreciation lunches throughout the year. Even the seasonal plants around the front door are a special PTO touch.

This Year’s Goal

This year, the PTO plans to raise funds to provide new carpet for the main hallway. This will cost about $9,000, and the PTO has several activities planned to help raise the balance. Two major events are working the fair in September and October and a rummage sale in October.

Join the PTO

Parents, grandparents, and friends are invited to join the teachers and staff of NBS to accomplish great things to help our students. Yearly membership gives this organization a small boost at the beginning of each year. Through October 6, the membership is $10 per family. After this, it goes to $15 per family.
