Elementary Field Day—May 19

Celebrate Finishing Another School Year with Field Day

On May 19, after finishing all of their tests, our Elementary students will be enjoying Field Day activities. These special activities will start at 10 AM and will include relay races, balloon pops, sack races, and so much more. Students need to wear NBS approved length shorts, any NBS t-shirt, and tennis shoes. Apply sunscreen before coming to school in the morning.

Field Day Lunch Fundraiser

Field Day will extend from 10 AM until Noon. Once all the games are completed, a pizza fundraiser lunch will be served in the cafeteria. We’ll be ordering from Johnny’s Pizza, and it’s important to complete and return this order form to reserve your slices. Parents are invited to eat as well. When completing the form for your students, simply include your name and choice of pizza. The lunch costs $6 per person, and payment needs to be returned with the order form. Please return these to the office by May 13 so that we can calculate how many pizzas we need to order.

Volunteers for Field Day

We are looking for volunteers to help organize and run the field day games, as well as volunteers to prepare for the lunch after field day. If you plan to join us for field day and would like to help, let the office know or send a note with your student addressed to Field Day.

Download this order form to purchase lunch on field day. If your student doesn’t want pizza, please send a lunch on May 19. The cafeteria will not have any additional options on this day.

Everyone on campus during lunchtime on May 19 is welcome to order pizza this day. This includes upper school students and faculty. All orders need to be submitted by May 13.
